
I came across this TikTok from Jay Shetty interviewing Cynthia Erivo and found it so profound about how we can love ourselves. Clients often feel they have to make profound or sweeping life changes in therapy. This is not true! Small changes over time have a greater impact. Self-love can be as simple as reading a few pages of a book before bed, writing a gratitude list, drinking a bottle of water, eating lunch away from your work area, taking a walk, calling a friend to hear their voice, etc.
